Dave Wilkins just touched up and re clear-coated this frame and repainted the fork and Mission Control. It is essentially mostly 99% origin paint.

Work done by Klein master painter Dave Wilkins of Chehalis Wa. He uses original pigments from the Klein factory freshly mixed into the original grade modern paint.

This MC1 Attitude, is from an era when Klein took 28 days to hand make each bike! epic Backfire color!
These early Klein Bikes are so unique in the cycling world as Klein not only made the frame inhouse but also made the MC1 Mission Control Bar/Stem and Unicrown Fork inhouse. along with internal cable routing and pressed in boxed bottom bracket, made for a very stiff and maneuverable ride. (it is said when you roll over a Nickel with the MC1 Attitude you can tell if it is heads or tails)
